Glossary of Terms: Accelerated learning

Research has shown that using accelerated learning techniques in learning events can increase both the speed of information transfer and the amount of information learners retain by up to 300%. This therefore can have the effect of reducing contact time (and, therefore, learners’ time away from their work) and increasing the amount of subject matter you can cover in learning events. Accelerated learning is all about making learning memorable and enjoyable. It’s about stimulating the parts that other learning cannot reach! Accelerated learning stimulates all of our senses and engages both the left and right sides of the brain.
